Instructors and pilots can set specific days and times when they should not be available for scheduling. If you have a standing commitment, a regular day off, or hours you would rather not fly, block them once and PilotSchedule will keep those times off your schedule.

Updated June 2026 Here is how to set it up.
1. Open My Profile.
2. Find the Block Days/Hours section, labeled "Block Days/Times (I am not available to be scheduled)."
3. Choose the weekday, then set the From Time and To Time for the hours you want to block.
4. To block more than one window, click Add Not Availability Day/Time and enter another day and time range.
5. Click Update to save.
Once saved, those days and hours show as unavailable, so no one can book you during them. To change or remove a block later, return to the same section, adjust or delete the entry, and click Update again.
A few minutes here keeps your availability accurate and saves the back-and-forth of turning down bookings you cannot take. PilotSchedule has helped flight schools, flying clubs, and independent instructors keep their aircraft and CFIs organized since 2003, whichever training path they run.
